I held back my tears the minute they won. It was expected; I’ve been following their games for quite a while now and I knew this was going to happen once A-Rod was up the mound. I was already getting goosebumps back then. See, CRYING OCEANS TO A TEAM THAT’S NOT THE GIANTS IS NOT CONSIDERED VERY MANLY U KNO. I was so happy. They weren’t my team, but I guess I was caught up with everything (LOL note the fact that this was happening in front of a television set in the wee hours of the morning somewhere in Manila with my 91 year old great gran, ok ok). I thought I wasn’t going to cry but when they started closing up on Josh Hamilton while everyone was in the background splashing him ginger ale, I realised something: HIS CHEEKS WERE WET. And then I completely lost it. This is so embarrassingly tl;dr, but I thought I’d share. I still can’t wait for tomorrow’s game. If I cried for the Rangers, I don’t what I’ll do if the Giants win/lose. Good luck, boys. ♥
